People in Recovery Helping People Find Recovery

Addiction is not something we studied in a textbook. It is something we lived through.

Lions Gate Recovery was built by people in long-term recovery who understood firsthand what works, what fails, and what truly transforms lives. When we purchased the company in 2017 from a local family who was struggling to sustain it, our mission was clear: build a treatment center focused on real, lasting results.

Today, Lions Gate Recovery stands as a structured, accountability-driven addiction treatment program serving individuals and families across Utah.

We are not corporate-owned.
We are not driven by investor profit.
We are driven by recovery.

Our Mission

We are people in recovery helping people find recovery.

That simple statement drives everything we do.

We believe recovery is not about comfort. It is about change. It is about rebuilding self-respect, responsibility, discipline, and purpose. It is about learning how to live again without substances.

Our program is intentionally structured and challenging because real transformation requires effort. We do not cut corners. We do not take the easy way out. And we do not pretend that addiction can be solved with temporary solutions.

Clients who commit to our program experience life-changing results.

Our Story

Our Story

When we took ownership of Lions Gate Recovery in 2017, we brought over 70 years of combined sobriety between the three owners.

Before Lions Gate, we worked inside other treatment programs. We saw models that focused heavily on comfort and client retention but failed to demand meaningful behavioral change. We saw relapse cycles that continued for years because accountability was missing.

We knew there was a better way.

We built Lions Gate Recovery around structure, therapy, and responsibility. We created an environment where clients are supported, but also challenged. Where growth is expected. Where independence is rebuilt step by step.

Since then, we have helped hundreds of individuals not only achieve sobriety, but go on to accomplish extraordinary things in life. Many of our alumni pursue careers, repair families, and accomplish goals that once felt impossible.

Recovery does not end when treatment ends. That is why our continuum of care is designed to carry clients from detox through sober living and long-term accountability.

Leadership That Understands Addiction
One of the most powerful aspects of Lions Gate Recovery is that our leadership team, deeply rooted in decades of personal recovery experience, remains actively involved in every facet of operations, development, and client care—because we don’t just support the mission, we live it.

Most families come to us in crisis—exhausted, afraid, and heartbroken after watching addiction erode trust, finances, and relationships—and they turn to Lions Gate Recovery not for temporary stabilization, but for real, lasting change.

Recovery Starts With a Decision

Most of our clients arrive in crisis — facing criminal charges, losing relationships, after hospitalizations. But desperation can become transformation.

You do not have to wait for things to get worse.
