               At Lions Gate Recovery we believe that physical and recreational activity is very important.

 

At Lions Gate Recovery we believe that physical and recreational activity is very important. We offer Jiujitsu, yoga, gym time, hiking, fishing, and many other activities that are therapeutically paramount in the client’s recovery. We are privileged to have Jake Johnston, an accomplished Gracie Blackbelt, teach our clients one of the most empowering martial arts. Our clients have found confidence and relief from PTSD using the techniques that Jake teaches them.  They attend yoga as a calming release of tension. Yoga increases physical/emotional balance. We attend the gym 5 days a week to encourage physical strengthening through exercise. We are blessed to have Zion National Park in our backyard. We hike majestic red canyons of Zion often. Our clients go fishing. We have caught fish in every season including ice fishing in the winter. At Lions Gate Recovery we take a wholistic approach to recovery.
